Welcome to the visual Roadmap of the Joint Action UNITED4Surveillance – an interactive, easy-to-follow guide designed to help you implement integrated infectious disease surveillance in your country and be better for future health crisis. This Roadmap is intended for professionals working in both human and veterinary health.

The Interactive UNITED4Surveillance Roadmap consists of two components:

  1. Overarching Roadmap
  2. Work package Roadmaps for Outbreak Detection, Hospital surveillance, and One Health

⇒ The Overarching Roadmap provides overview and context for the UNITED4Surveillance results by placing them within the ECDC Long-term surveillance framework 2021-2027.

Each Work package Roadmap consists of five key elements that describe the UNITED4Surveillance results in greater detail:

  • Gaps and needs
  • Piloting promising approaches
  • Best practices
  • Share experience/best practice/capacity building
  • Integrate (inter)national policies

⇒ Each key element includes relevant links to guidelines, documents, and other useful resources.
